Great video. Its nice to get information from older creators. I'm reviving my old channel and pivoting at the same time. My goal right now is one video a week. The best part is you can make the same content as other creators and present it your way and build an audience who likes it your way.

I needed this! I keep talking myself out of it; I'm very creative at that, lol. One question I'm still pondering: Why do I want a RUclips channel? I don't like to be in the spotlight and draw attention. I don't want to talk to the camera (like you, Brian I also feel like I'm a bit quirky/weird). Figuring out what it is that I want to share, why, and the audience that might be interested. I'm probably overthinking things and just need to start at some point! The funny thing is that I already created a long list of possible videos, titles, and thumbnails!

Not giving up yet. Most of my videos get a few hundred views for a day or so and then just drop off. Look at the search words and the algorithm sends it to people that are not even on topic.😢 Still trying to figure the best key words to it the right people.

I have been trying everything but it looks like the algorithm chooses otherwise. Tried using shorts but they only deliver subs. Long forms don't move at all. Would love anyone with honest criticism. Thank you Brian for your awesome content man.

Brian, I love how you not only simplify your tips, but you always do it in a way that that helps me think of other ways to be more creative with my channel and business. Our FTtravel start date took a backseat for a bit after loosing my Mother in Law a few weeks ago unexpectedly, but my to-do list is still growing and you always help me come up with ideas. For me, taking the gardening example you used helps me to come up with ideas of items to create/sell that are lacking in the FT travel nomad industry. Affiliates have been a great way for me to earn money on RUclips while I wait to be monetized. Can't remember if it was your or your pal Nick, but recommending to pin links In the comments has also helped immensely. I'm always amazed at the amount of people that click and purchase from my Amazon Link. 1-5 sales a day for a small channel I'm quite proud of You've mentioned in the past about making money on domain hosting specifically. I'd be interested in hearing about that in a future video. How do you market that to get people to click and buy. Google ads or some form of SEO'd one page website for top web hosts with affiliate links. I know they pay really well with recurring revenue and always wondered about that.

How does a channel with 163K subscribers publish a video about making life-changing money - with a compelling title and thumbnail - get just 775 views in two days? I would think this is the sort of video that would blow up quickly. To be clear: I'm questioning how RUclips works nowadays - not casting any shade on Mr. Johnson, whose videos (including this one) I appreciate very much. Thank you!
